A man committed suicide in uncompleted building at Tafo in the Ashanti region.


Reports gathered that a man believed to be in his late 40s has committed suicide at Tafo in the Ashanti region WestAfrica24.com can confirm.

Residents were in a total shock as some were suspecting a fowl play.

Some of the residents who spoke to Pure Fm’s Osei Kwadwo said the deceased was found dead on Wednesday dawn in the uncompleted building near the Tafo Methodist school park.

They raised concerns over heightening insecurity in the community indicating that they are living in a state of fear as they are greeted with one criminal act to the other on daily basis.

According to them, they are living in a state of fear due to rampant robbery cases in the community and are therefore appealing to the Ashanti Regional Police Command to strengthen security situation in the community.

The body has since been conveyed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for autopsy and preservation.
