Ghanaian controversial radio personality and comedian Afia Schwarzenegger has also contributed to ‘drop that chamber’ social media campaign which is aimed stopping parliamentarians from constructing a new parliamentary block which is reportedly cost $200m.

The proposed 450-seater capacity chamber, when built, will have a chapel, a mosque, an eatery, and gardens. The current chamber being used by the 275 MPs, according to Sir David Adjaye who designed the new chamber will be converted into a conference centre.

Adding her opinion to the matter in her known manner, the commediene and media personality said Ghana should legalize the utilization of marijuana because that is the only thing that can make members of parliament come out with such decisions.

She made it clear that only weed smokers can come out to make such decisions on constructing a new parliament chamber while there are others issues to address.
