Ayawaso East NDC Ends Unity Talks Ahead of 2020 Victory


Ayawaso East Constituency of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, has ended ‘Unity talks’ in preparation towards elections 2020.

The successful Unity talks went on in all three (3) wards of the Ayawaso East Constituency where branches welcomed the idea, especially with the victory 2020 in focus.

The Member of Parliament for the area, Mc. Naza Mahama Toure and his competitor in the last primaries, Dr. Yakubu Azindow agreed to work together to retain the Ayawaso East seat for the NDC.

Dr. Azindow promised the to offer his support in whatever way to ensure the seat is retained and protected anytime there will be general elections in the area.

Dr. Azindow who was described as people’s man charged his followers to put behind the primaries to help in bringing back the NDC to power in 2021.

He also indicated the beauty of the internal democracy is that one wins and the other lends support to whom the delegates chose.

On his part the Legislator and Parliamentary Candidate elect for the Ayawaso East, Mc Naza Mahama Toure, commended Dr. Azindow for his sportsmanship and political maturity.

He welcomes Dr. Azindow on board to help the NDC to snatch power from the failed Nana Addo/Bawumia led NPP government who ‘sworn to make Ghanaians to suffer’.

The MP charged all the branches to regularise their meetings and appealed some other branches to be serious with their meetings.

Mc. Naza informed all the branches that elections are won at the branch or polling stations, hence, need to take their branch meetings and mobilisation seriously.

He also informed branches who have no account to see him for an account to enable them to run their branches diligently.
