Challenging Capacity Of Abola Mantse Case Adjourned

The Judicial Committee of the Ga Traditional Council has adjourned the case challenging the capacity of Abola Mantse, Nii Ahele Nunoo III to November 13, 2019.

This follows the inability of the committee to duly constitute its panel as a result of one of them taken ill.

WestAfrica24.com has gathered that the Abola Nuacoo House is claiming legitimacy to the Ga Abola Royal Stool which is currently being occupied by Nii Ahele Nunoo III, who comes from the Abola Nansiedu House.

According to elders of Abola Nuacoo House it is their turn to ascend to the throne since the last Abola Mantse who left the stool as a result of his demise was from the Nansiedu House.

At a hearing on Wednesday 16th October, 2019, to adjudicate on the issue, the judicial committee of the council announced that the meeting cannot be held since they are not properly constituted to hear the case.

This however infuriated some members of the Abola Nuacoo House. According to them the council is likely to adjourn the next meeting on other or similar reasons.
