Davido blames Nigerian leaders over xenophobic attack on Nigerians in South Africa.


Nigerian singer, Davido has taken to twitter to share his view on the on going xenophobic attack on foreign nationals especially Nigerians in the former apartheid colony, South Africa.

Sharing his view on the matter on twitter, Davido says “what would Nigerians be doing in South Africa if their home country, Nigeria is good”. He wrote the statement in a way to not be understood easily.

South Africans have been launching attacks on foreign nationals with the sole aim of driving them out of the country because they claim they occupy jobs which should be given to them.

Earlier today, the South African high commissioner to Nigeria has been summoned by the Nigerian authorities but to the dismay of the authorities, the High Commissioner denies xenophobic attacks on Nigerian nationals.

President Buhari has since dispatched a special envoy to the country to look into ways of solving the fracas which has drawn massive condemnations from across the world.
