An NDC Parliamentary candidate aspirant for Amasaman Constituency in the Greater Accra region, Hajia Mariam Dzifa Ibrahim, has pledged to address the high rate of unemployment among the youth in the Constituency when she gets the nod as the next Member of Parliament.
She stated that high rate of unemployment strangulating a number of youth which according to her will be addressed through lobbying.
Speaking in an interview with WestAfrica24.com in Accra after she had went through the vetting process, Hajia Mariam Dzifa Ibrahim promised to empower the youth economically when given the nod.
She also stated that the constituents lack accessibility to the leaders in the Constituency adding that she will avail herself to the constituents and listen to them to address their challenges.
Hajia Mariam Dzifa Ibrahim pointed out that the Constituency need a woman who is accessible and experience to lead them into the next Parliament.
She added that the Amasaman Constituency needs someone who will inspire the youth because such inspiration has eluded them for some time now.
Hajia Mariam Dzifa Ibrahim noted that the Constituency has been deprived and neglected for a long time and is about time to step in for the change the people need.
She reiterated that as a young person, she knows what the youth go through and she wants to come in and to empower them to make a meaningful living.
Hajia Mariam Dzifa Ibrahim further stated that the party need committed and people who will unite the people to retain the seat.
