An NDC Parliamentary aspiring candidate for the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency, Nii Ayidzaku Tackie, has urged delegates to vote for a competent, experienced, knowledgeable and well connected candidate who is poised to work as a team player together with the Constituency and branch executives.
According to him he has all these qualities to deliver a strong united party at the Constituency level and a well resourced coordinated strategic campaign for the NDC that would win the long awaited Dome-Kwabenya Parliamentary seat and win more votes for the Presidential flagbearer John Dramani Mahama when given the nod as parliamentary candidate.
Talking to WestAfrica24.com at Kwabenya, Nii Tackie noted that the NDC had over 34,000 deficit votes needed to annex the seat. He said when given the nod as Parliamentary Candidate, he will work hard to capture that seat for the NDC.
He expressed worry over the importation of people to the Constituency to vote, a situation which according to him brings division to the party and results in the NDC loosing more votes.
He stated that due to that phenomenon, there is no unity and cohesion among NDC supporters in the Constituency.
Nii Tackie reiterated that the Constituency is a hostile Constituency and as such needs somebody who comes from the area and had been with them for a long time.
He therefore called on all delegates to vote for him in the upcoming Parliamentary primaries, assuring them that he will subsequently go ahead to win the national elections for the NDC.
