The Ga Sɛi Wulu Asafoatsɛ Nukpa, Captain Nii Kojo Nseni Mankattah IV, has reiterated the call on GaDangme’s to unite and play their respective roles to help move the development agenda forward.
He noted that divisions especially chieftaincy disputes and land litigation among other things retard the development of the area.
Asafoatsɛ Nukpa, Captain Nii Kojo Nseni Mankattah IV said this in an interview with Westafrica24.com in Accra when he joined Chiefs of the Ga State to sprinkled Kpokpoi during the Gamashie Homowo celebration.
He also lamented over the installing illegitimate people as Chiefs which according to him is breeding confusion and deaths in the various communities in the Ga State.
Asafoatsɛ Nukpa, Captain Nii Kojo Nseni Mankattah IV said there is the need for the Traditional Councils and the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs to intervene and call those involve in such acts to order.
He expressed joy and appriciation to the people of Gamashie for celebrating this year’s Homowo in peace without any acrimony, bitter squabbles and confusion that usually marred the celebrations.
Asafoatsɛ Nukpa, Captain Nii Kojo Nseni Mankattah IV added that the people gave way to peace, glamour and fanfare in this year’s celebration.
