Information picked by Bole- based Nkilgi FM indicates the latest feud is about a plot of land opposite the Damongo Nursing Training College on the main Damongo to Tamale road that both Proff Kalamonia and Nana Kwame Aboagye are claiming ownership of.

Professor Kalamonia last week fetched a trip of sand onto the land with the intention of building a Regional Office for the NPP but Nana Kwame who is also claiming ownership of the same plot of land fetched a heap of sand onto the same parcel of land.

An aide of Nana Kwame Aboagye called Ayatollah Blessed confirmed the feud to Nkilgi Fm and explained that unconfirmed information they have say the District Chief Executive (DCE) for West Gonja Hon Saeed Muazu Jebreel DCE gave the piece of land to Proff Kalamonia. He said they were from Tamale and saw heap of sand on the plot of land which belongs to Nana Kwame. He said Nana Kwame bought the plot eleven (11) years ago and that the area was rocky and had big holes because of sand winning activities that took place but Nana Kwame still went ahead to take it.

Ayatollah urged Proff Kalamonia to produce any document on the land if he has any. He concluded that the issue has nothing to do with politcs.

Nkilgi Fm called Proff Kalamonia any times to comment on the issue but he could not pick the calls.

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Savannah Region just commenced the construction of a party Secretariat and reports say the ruling NPP do not want to be outdone hence putting up a party Secretariat.
