Eight distinguished hardworking personalities have been honoured by the Sissamba Empire, a real estate development company for their immense contributions to improving living standard in Zongo Communities within the country.
The awards are aimed at encouraging Muslim youth to be more committed towards the development of Zongo and also to motivate the staff of Sissamba Empire to work hard.
Notable among the awardees included, Public Relations Officer for the National Council of Zongo Chief, Chief Alhaji Moru Baba Issah, National Nasara Coordinator of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa among others.
The rest were Anass Mohammed, Ali Ibrahim and Eric Addo. Others included Ali Osmanu, Bismark Yaw Asante and Eli Yaw Agbeli all workers of Sissamba Empire.
Sissamba Empire is a real estate establishment that deals in the sale of lands, buildings as well as provision construction-related services and property management.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Executive Officer of the Sissamba Empire, Nii Abbey Okamfrah I, said It is a time to reward dignitary work, excellence in execution and to show their staff that they are very much appreciated for their contributions.
He congratulated the recipients of the various awards in different categories, charged them to continue to work hard and exhale the core values of the company.
Nii Abbey Okamfrah I, said the company’s establishment would help create employment for the youth and.provide social support to the needy.
Nii Abbey Okamfrah I, who is also the development Chief of Sarpeiman and the founder Royal Benevolent Foundation also cautioned the youth against the unlawful use of tramadol which according to him is disturbing. The situation he notes is becoming frightening as the youth join bandwagon.
He cautioned the youth who take it for recreation because of its euphoric effect to stop, as the long term implication could have dire consequences on their health.
On behalf of the awardees, National Nasara Coordinator of the NPP, Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa, expressed gratitude the CEO of the Sissamba Empire for recognising their contributions towards the development of Ghana.
He believes that education among the Zongo youth will reduce crime and poverty in Zongos.
Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa reiterated that government has initiated two initiatives to improve access to education the Inner Cities and Zongo communities, nationwide.
He added that beginning next year his office will give scholarships to ten youth from Inner Cities, and Zongo communities, as well as deprived are to further their education.
