We Have Been Deprived – Chief Of Korleman

he Chief of Korleman a town in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra region, Nii Korle VII, has expressed worry over neglect of Korleman community by the Ga West Municipal Assembly.

According to him to town lags behind in development such as road network, health facility, schools, as well as toilet facility.

Nii Korle VII said this when the Chiefs and people of Korleman celebrated their annual Homowo.

He stated that they live in a deplorable situation which requires immediate attention from all stakeholders since the area has been neglected over the years.

Nii Korle VII therefore appealed to the government to as a matter of urgency provide the community with hospital to cater for the health needs of the people; saying the provision of the facility will help address the health needs of the communities around the area instead of the people going far away to access healthcare in Amasaman and Nsawam.

He also called on the Ga West Municipal Assembly to urgently respond to the plea help build school infrastructure for the Korleman community.

Nii Korle VII who is also the Asekyere Adonten Guantuahene of Aburi Traditional Area
added that the community is rich with tourism potentials and pleaded with the Ghana Tourist Authority to assist the town to attract tourist and investors.
